Ai Yiying, 87, survivor of the atrocious Nanjing Massacre, stands at the site where her loved ones were killed by Japanese army in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, on Dec. 3, 2015. Ai Yiying survived in the Nanjing Massacre when she was 9 years old. She witnessed in a hideout that her father Ai Renyin, her uncles Ai Renbing and Ai Renlin, her cousin Ai Yisheng were forced away and killed by Japanese army. Some survivors of the Nanjing Massacre held family memorial rites for their lost relatives at the Memorial Hall of the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, ahead of the national memorial day for the atrocity.
