Introduction
According to trial of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE), after the fall of Nanjing, there were more than 20,000 women raped by one or more Japanese soldiers no matter the women’s age. Li Xiuying is one of the survivors and eyewitnesses of the Nanjing Massacre.
Li Xiuying was stabbed over 30 times during her struggle against the Japanese soldiers. These are not only scars on her body, but also the nightmare in her heart.

Today, most of the victims of the Nanjing Massacre are over 80. In their advanced age, their number is dwindling. According to incomplete statistics, there are only some 100 living.
The Memorial Hall of Victims in the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders officially started on July 6, 2014 information collection about the surviving family members of the killed in the massacre.
In the operation, staff of the memorial hall have found that the surviving family members of the killed and the younger generation of the surviving victims know quite well the history of the massacre thanks to the description and first-person stories of their older generation. It is an important way to pass one the memory of the historical facts, and therefore important for the memorial hall to accomplish the task with speed.
