Sindberg Roses
Danish Bernhard Arp Sindberg and German Karl Günther saved the lives of 20, 000 Chinese refugees at the Jiangnan Cement Plant in the spirit of justice and humanitarianism. Therefore, Danish horticulturists developed the yellow-colored "Eternal Nanjing- Sindberg Rose" in memory of Sindberg’s humanitarian deeds. These Sindberg Roses, representing peace and friendship, blossom now in Nanjing.
